Menu package or Excel?
Use the Excel template to fill in products in a spreadsheet. Use an .emenu file when a menu is already packaged and ready to preview and import. This sample is an editable example menu, not a blank spreadsheet.
Both formats open through Import menu file. A menu package cannot be edited in Excel. Renaming an .xlsx file to .emenu does not convert it.
The same examples as the Excel template
The download contains English content matching the two example rows on the Excel template's Guide sheet: Lemon Soda under Drinks, and Sea Salt Chips under Snacks. It contains no pictures or remote image links.
